This video is an explanation of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo Trading System.

The Ichimoku chart below shows the clear strength of the system. Beginning in late December 2011 as prices generate a kumo breakout signal and drift back to kumo prices bounce at note 1. Note at 3, prices quickly recovered and tenkan kijun briefly touch. This would have been an area to take some profits. There is no sell signal generated until point 4 where tenkan and kijun cross. A trader could have been long the entire six months. Kumo clearly shows its bullish state as it continues to incline. In late October a sell signal is generated again as tenkan and kijun cross decisively. Towards the very end of the chart kumo crosses or twists noting a possible change of trend. A trader would stay alert to this possible change of trend. Until price actually closes below kumo this chart is still bullish and has not confirmed a change in trend.
